Josh was raised right here in Walla Walla. He started at Baker Boyer in the mailroom in 1998 fresh out of high school! He worked his way through various operational duties before moving into lending as a Business Analyst, then Commercial Lender, and then promoted to Operations Manager. In 2018 he was promoted to his current role of Chief Banking Office and Executive Committee Member.

As the Chief Banking Officer, Josh leads the business and consumer lending, and retail branch teams. Under Josh’s leadership, these teams strive to continually provide world-class service to all Baker Boyer clients. Josh also works with bank leaders to strategically evaluate and optimize the client experience, ensuring team members have the tools and resources necessary to perform their jobs at the highest possible level. 

Over the past 40 years, Josh has seen the community grow and prosper. He and his wife are avid community volunteers and Josh has served on various community boards including the Walla Walla Valley Chamber of Commerce and the Children’s Museum of Walla Walla.
