The Automated Clearing House Filter allows only pre-authorized ACH transactions to post to/from the account. Transactions are “filtered” based on their ACH Company ID, which is a unique identifier for each ACH - originating business. Filters can also be set to allow posting only certain amounts and certain types (credits vs. debits) of transactions.
